How to do it:

1. Start by going to "Objects" under templates in the menu on the left.

2. Create a new category and name it. In our example, we name the category "My Templates."

3. Click on "New Template" and select the tool you want to create the template for. In the video, we select "Area." Then, give the template a name. We name our template "Standard Room."

4. Fill in the properties you want the template to have. Further down in the same view, choose the type of row content that should be used for this object template.

5. Click on "Import." You have now created an object template!

6. If you go back to the calculation view and start measuring, you can now select your object template for the areas where you want to use it. In our example, we select the "Area" tool, click on the folder "Standard Room," and choose the object template in the lower tool palette under "No template." There, we select "Standard Room" and start measuring. You will then get a predefined row description based on the information in your object template.
