Geometra + Wikells Sektionsdata = Smooth Exports

We have initiated a collaboration with Wikells Byggberäkningar. Data exports from Geometra directly to Wikells are now possible. We hope this will streamline the workflow for our shared customers!

How does it work?

In Settings > General, you can choose which estimation tool you use. If you select Wikells Sektionsdata, sections of the user interface will be marked with the Wikells logo, clearly indicating which fields need to be filled out for the export to work properly. Enable this setting.

Also, check Settings > Rows to see that a new column named "Chapter" has been added. This column allows you to match it with the Chapter column in Wikells. Fill in the fields in the rows marked with the Wikells logo.

Then, go to Export > Special Exports > Wikells Sektionsdata. Geometra will generate an XML file compatible with direct import into Wikells.

You can either use the default chapters (1-17) or build your own calculation tree in Sektionsdata, which allows you to use all 999 chapters.

Improvements

• The last created estimate in a project will now be the default one to open unless a user has actively chosen to work on a different one.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug where labels weren't shown correctly after replacing an object with a template.

• Fixed a bug where the order of the estimates wasn't loaded correctly in the estimate selector.

• Fixed a bug where the properties pane would sometimes crash when removing styles for labels.

• Fixed a bug which could cause the Drive tree to crash.

• Fixed a bug where importing objects from a PDF would cause an error.

• Fixed a bug where the "pc/st" unit was not set correctly for some locales.

Update 5.0.11

A small but annoying bug accidently made it through to production on the lrease of 5.0.10 today and this hotfix (5.0.11) fixes that issue. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks to the user who found it reported it just minutes after the release as they encountered it.

• Fixed a bug which causes problems for rows to display content when using special characters.
