Customer Survey 2024: Here’s What Our Users Think About Geometra

Every year, we conduct a comprehensive customer survey where our users share their thoughts on Geometra. We’ve now compiled the responses. We want to be transparent in noting that the response rate this time didn’t reach the desired level, but the results still provide a valuable snapshot of user opinions.

What Our Users Appreciate the Most

The survey reveals that our users are delighted with our support. They appreciate how easy it is to navigate the interface and how clear the buttons and menus are. The majority also feel that the buttons, menus, and options meet their expectations. Development, stability, operation, and performance are also rated very highly.

The Most Commonly Used File Types and Tools

Among our tools, point, line, area, and reduction are the most popular. Regarding file types, PDFs and image formats like PNG, JPG, and TIFF are the most frequently used as project bases.

Few Have Tried Templates – But They Can Make a Big Difference

One standout finding in the survey is that few users have tried templates in Geometra. These were introduced after a major update this summer and can make a difference, especially when working with recurring building elements. There are templates for folders (structural templates), rows, objects, and control folders. What all these templates have in common is that they assist users by storing information that can later be reused. They help create a structure that enables teams to work consistently.

Those who have started using templates report a significantly faster workflow in their quantity calculations. Would you like to get started too?
